Oven Control Faceplate Overlay for GE JTP55BM2BB Oven. Genuine product manufactured by GE. The faceplate shows the location of the temperature and other oven controls. This is a sticky type faceplate that may fall off the oven over time due to heat and normal wear and tear. The wording may also become worn and illegible, making it hard to determine where the buttons are when working the oven. The faceplate should be replaced when this happens so that the right buttons can be used to operate the oven. Before installing the new faceplate, disconnect the oven's power source and make sure the unit is cool to touch. Remove the faded faceplate if it is still on the oven. Clean the area to remove any glue residue. Line the new faceplate up with the buttons on the oven. Remove the backing protecting the glue. Press the faceplate firmly onto the oven. Press all of the buttons firmly to ensure the faceplate is adhering before plugging the oven back into the electrical outlet. This faceplate is black plastic and vinyl part with adhesive on the back that is individually sold. It is designed specifically for GE wall ovens.
