It prevents the range from tipping forward when heavy cookware is on the open oven door or on extended oven racks. The kit may include multiple parts; refer to your parts diagram for a complete list of parts included.

The anti-tip bracket kit must be installed on all freestanding ranges to prevent the range from falling forward and causing injuries.
