Oven Igniter Kit (Flat Style) for Maytag CRG7700AAW Range - Oven/Stove. Genuine Product, Whirlpool manufactured the original product for your Maytag CRG7700AAW. Part number 12400035 has been substituted to part number 7432P067-60.
This is the oven igniter kit. It can replace igniters for either bake or broil burners. This igniter replaces most flat oven igniters. Does not replace round igniters or igniters with blue ceramic. This replaces shorter and longer igniters in many instances. Amperage range is between 3.3 - 3.6. If the igniter glows for more than 90 seconds without igniting the gas flame, this indicates that the igniter is too weak to open the valve.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The grey coil is very fragile, handle with care.
Additional installation notes:
This igniter is designed to fit many different types of stoves. Sometimes these igniters will not be an exact fit as the wire ends may be different. You may need to cut the connector off the old one and install the wire nut. If you are unsure on how to install this part, please seek help from a service technician for assistance.
